Vroom with a view…

Introducing a Surrey gem that will leave you in a spin!

The unique, design-led Brooklands Hotel first opened its doors in 2010 on the site of the iconic Brooklands race track and offers the ultimate combination of contemporary design with a vibrant history. The racing heritage can be seen throughout the hotel’s artwork and more specifically running across the main reception. Predominantly glass, this super style-statement of a property has been designed for luxury, while embracing the rich legacy of the Brooklands race circuit.

Located in Weybridge, within the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit, in the heart of Surrey, just minutes from the A3, M3 and M25, 17 miles from Heathrow and 33 miles from Gatwick. The hotel is complete with a destination spa, cocktail bar, restaurant, and 131 luxury rooms and suites.

Brooklands is the home of one of Britain’s most famous racing heritage circuits – in fact it was the world’s first purpose built real race track. Originally opened in 1907 by wealthy land owner Hugh Locke King, it was the scene of the earliest motor racing in the country during the 1920s and 1930s. It was the venue for making history with the first person ever to cover 100 miles in an hour, set by Percy E. Lambert. The circuit is no longer in operation, having closed and been damaged during World War II, however the nearby Brooklands Museum hosts a wide range of exhibits from the earliest racing cars and aircraft of the era up to the first prototype Concorde.

The hotel’s bedrooms and suites, all feature a wealth of natural light with floor to ceiling windows, divine furnishings and sumptuous beds. Several benefit from their own private outside space with views over the neighbouring Mercedes-Benz track.

Not a drive-through menu

Brooklands Hotel’s appropriately named 1907 restaurant, bar & grill offers a stylish dining experience that is modern and contemporary in both ambience and service delivery within a 1920s and 30s décor inspired setting. Awarded two AA Rosettes for the third year in a row, the predominantly British style menu uses the best sourced produce and combined with modern cooking techniques this delivers simple, honest food.

Drive in – Chill out

We all need to spend a little time in the pit lane to stop and recharge our batteries, so make a swift turn to the spa for a little of what life takes out. BSpa has eight treatments rooms offering a selection of massage treatments, facials, therapies and body treatments for you to indulge in. There is also one double treatment room.

Outside of your treatment room, you’ll find “his and hers” sauna and steam rooms as well as an outdoor hot tub, from which you can enjoy the mesmerising Mercedes-Benz World track. The meditation room features gentle warming waterbeds that restore and relax the body to a resting temperature in a quiet, cocooning environment.
